Enable RC5 and MD2 in Openssl
Posted by Mark Joseph, Last modified by Mark Joseph on 28 April 2015 10:00 AM

Update 28 April 2015: This issue has been fixed in all SKC versions greater than or equal to release: 2015.1.14652

Trial versions of our KMIP SKC client expects that all ciphers are enabled in the OpenSSL library in use.   This allows the trial user to test out any cipher.   In particular, RC5 and MD2 algorithms have been disabled in the default OpenSSL builds post 0.9.8.   Using the default build will result in the trial SKC examples failing.   Please build or use an OpenSSL build with all encryption algorithms enabled (including Ellipitical curve).

When buying a license for SKC, a customer can get a SKC build to remove any encryption algorithms that they plan to disable in their OpenSSL builds.
